Ojos Negros seemed charged with southern resonances; perhaps it was the Argentine samba my father used to sing to me as a child so I could fall asleep... Did I ever imagine it would evoke the same nights filled with Andean fireflies in those who were looking for collaborators for their books?
Pulling together a portfolio took me years of playing and researching, and I became a bookmaker myself, putting together my photochemical prints for studying and learning... Ojos Negros Impress is now a photographic, printmaking, and handmade book workshop, as also, a magical creative reservoir where I can work by myself and collectively.
