A private commission, the book is hand-sewn according to the retchoso structure, a traditional Japanese binding technique used to compose multi-sectioned books. It was assembled on acid-free and elemental chlorine-free papers, manufactured mostly with wind power.

The natural silk covers are engraved with an exclusive design for this single copy book. The etching/engraving plate was made of discarded Tetrapak.
